Coke approached us with a strategic and creative challenge—strengthen their cred with multicultural youth.
As music insiders, we knew multicultural teens weren’t defining themselves by one type of music, and we saw cross-genre mash-ups on the rise. In short, we were able to see a connection between what was happening in music and what Coke does best: bring people together.
From these music insights, “Do You Speak Coke?” was born. Together with Strange Beast Animation, we created content that united the cultural moment in music with the essence of Coca-Cola. The work resonated with Hispanic and African-American communities beating and exceeding expectations. Based on its success “Do You Speak Coke?” ran for more than two years.
